Therapeutic massage is designed to relieve tension in the muscle and the connective tissue or fascia. Deep tissue massage (focuses on the muscles located below the surface of the top muscles) can be performed for individuals who experience consistent pain, are involved in heavy physical activity, such as athletes, and clients who have sustained physical injury. This may differ from a relaxation massage, where the therapist uses lighter pressure to help reduce stress and will likely provide a general, all over massage rather than targeting specific problem areas.
Each session is customized using a wide range of techniques to meet the individual needs of each client.

Thai yoga massage

Thai Yoga Massage is performed on a mat on the floor. Both client and practitioner are dressed in comfortable clothing allowing ease of movement and flexibility, such as yoga clothing or a t-shirt and cotton sweatpants. No oils or creams are used.

The therapist uses hands, elbows and feet to apply pressure to important points along the sen energy lines and releases blocked energy while freeing the body's own natural healing potential helping to restore balance, health and harmony.

Hot stone massage

The therapist uses smooth, heated stones to massage the client or places the warm stones on specific points along the spine, on the belly, and in the palms of your hands to improve the flow of energy in the body as they continue the treatment.

Prenatal massage is similar in many ways to a relaxation massage. It focuses on the special needs of the pregnant women, and helps to enhance the function of muscles and joints, improves circulation, improves general body tone and helps relieve physical and mental fatigue.

Aromatherapy massage can be deep tissue or Swedish massage using essential oils. With each appointment, a custom blend of essential oils is created from your own personal preferences. The healing properties of these oils work alongside the relaxation of the massage by being absorbed through the skin as well as by being inhaled through the nose.

Lavender, Bergamot, Orange, Grapefruit, Cypress, Rosemary, Peppermint, Geranium, Ylang Ylang

After a Reflexology session:
Positive signs that cleansing and healing are taking place, usually within a day or two of treatments, may appear in these forms: fatigue, congestion, increased discharge of mucus, strong urine odour and dark color, increased frequency of or loose bowel movements, headache, irritability, insomnia, or nausea. Avoiding painkillers or other drugs during this cleansing period is encouraged.

Raindrop therapy is a method of using essential oils, Vita Flex (technique), reflexology and massage to bring the body structural and electrical alignment. It was designed to bring balance to the body with its relaxing and mild application. Helping to align the energy centers of the body and release them if blocked.

The oils used help to boost the immune system as well as the circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, digestive, nervous, and indirectly other systems. (These oils are also high in antioxidants, are mood elevating, antiseptic, antibacterial and antiviral.)

9 essential oils (thyme, oregano, wintergreen, cypress, basil, peppermint, marjoram, aroma siez and valour) are used.
